When you take a look at some of the successful people in the world, the money they possess may blind you or the notoriety the public bestows upon them distracts your judgment. At second glance (with the exception of generational money and success), there are certain factors that have contributed to their success and popularity. With almost every successful person, there are common habits that add to their wealth or catapult them into the spotlight. The good news is – you don’t have to be a millionaire to follow the same path and develop successful habits of your own.
I never spent alot of time in school learning how important real knowledge is to prepare a person for adult life. Learning the hard way as I did it takes along time and alot extra work that school would teach a person alot quicker. I can tell people first hand how hard life was to learn about with out the proper education that school gives each student. learning is a harder process I had to find out for myself. Forcing myself to grow up faster then I was prepared for cost me so many hard earned lessons. Take the time to be a student first growing up faster just takes away so many great school experiences that a student should not miss out on. These are the happy times I wish I had to look back on.
We have come to expect that ghetto babies will grow up and die as ghetto adults. We seldom see any stories in the media about people who never raise above their ghetto existence. A large number of people born in a ghetto grow up and live decent lives. Many make it to a middle-class life style. However, these people are just as un-news worthy as those that never leave the ghetto. The rages to riches stories are presented by the media as proof of the possibilities for American citizens. They perpetuate the ideal that anyone living in America can become anything he/she wants to be. How often have we seen the headlines: From The Ghetto To Millionaire. The media perpetuates the ideal that anyone in America can become anything he/she wants to because it not only makes us feel good about our Country; it makes America look good to the rest of the World. The ideal says to the World that America is the land of opportunity. See!
Is it possible to be a grappler and train injury free? By some reactions that I’ve received in the past, many tend to think that grappling “injury-free” is very possible. Some grapplers like to believe that most injuries could be avoided if training partners were more considerate and less competitive while training.

My wife had a pretty little turquoise and silver bracelet. After wearing it one day she discovered she couldn’t get it off. It was stuck and the clasp wouldn’t budge. Calling on my vast experience as a fixer of broken things, she asked me to unstick it. I failed. She wore it to bed that night. She didn’t sleep well - the bracelet was just tight enough to be irritating. The next morning she declared it had to come off. We looked at it - we both tried to get the clasp to work - to no avail. It wasn’t so valuable that we should take it to a jeweler. That damned clasp just wouldn’t move. We ended up cutting it off with a bolt cutters. And as soon as we did, the part of the bracelet that we thought was the hinge fell off - and we discovered we had been trying to open the wrong end of the clasp!
I know these techniques work because I, or the people I know, have had direct experiences of results coming out of putting these creative visualization techniques into practice.
“Treasure Map”
The treasure map technique simply involves you creating a tangible picture of what you want.
You can either draw it, if you’re good at drawing, or you can cut out pictures from magazines, newspapers, photos and create a collage of what it is you want to manifest.
Make it as vivid, colourful and realistic as possible. Place it somewhere you can see it and meditate on it every day.
There are four key steps to being successful in the counseling process:
WILLINGNESS
Many who need counseling either will not seek it or they come for therapy and are not willing to make any changes in their lives. They want others to change; they want their environment or circumstances to change but they are resistant to doing anything different themselves. It is surprising how much emotional pain a person can endure because they have difficulty embracing the idea of change.
The inspiration from within creates our world without. When we offer the best vibration possible in each moment our world becomes like clay in the hands of a skilled sculptor. Amazingly enough there are few of us who take responsibility for our vibrational offerings. Perhaps in this culture we value thought above all else even when the thoughts are the very things making us feel bad.
